When people think of tourist attractions in Kansas, they usually think of cities. It may come as a surprise that many of the best tourist attractions in Kansas are located in rural areas, such as Kansas City, Kansas, and Wichita, Missouri.

Here you can swim, play tennis, picnic and enjoy views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Kansas River. The Kansas State Fair, Kansas City's largest sporting event, is less than an hour away and can be visited from many of Kansas' top tourist attractions, including the city's football and basketball stadiums.

The museum displays items used in the Kansas Territory settlement during the Wild West era, including ancient equipment ranging from horseback riding, horse riding and horse racing to horses and horses. There is also an exhibition that pays tribute to the Indians who lived in Kansas before Coronado gained a foothold here.

Opened in 1926 as the Liberty Memorial Museum, it was declared the official Aviation Museum by the United States Congress, a museum that helps preserve our proud local and national aviation heritage.

Liberal houses 13 city parks, including Adventure Bay Family Water Park and two other parks in Liberal, including Liberty Memorial Park and Liberty Park, both open year-round - with a total of 38 parking spaces. We attended the annual Liberal State Fair, the largest state fair in Kansas State, and stayed in a mobile home park at the Pancake Hub Universe.

The Statue of Liberty, donated by the Boy Scouts of America and erected in Cooper Park, is located in the center of the city of Coronado, south of San Diego. If you have to stop, be sure to visit the Fabled Seven Cities of Gold, an object dating back to 1541, when 36 soldiers from Coronado invaded what is now southwest Kansas and acted as history tellers in search of the legendary seven cities of gold. The tour ends with the original model of Dorothy, which was used in 1939 for the shooting of this film.

Once the epicenter of Kansas's dust bowl, grasslands are now a popular destination for campers and hikers who want to see the expansive landscape that made Kansas famous. Natural gas has been discovered in one of the most famous natural gas fields in the United States.

In addition, Liberal has many architecturally elaborate libraries, which contain a large number of books and serve as great learning spaces. Other exciting and lively options offer art lovers a wide variety of art galleries, museums and galleries in the city of Liberal.

Located in the heart of America, the Mid-America Air Museum has one of the largest and most comprehensive aviation collections in North America. Located just a short drive from the Kansas State University campus, it is the only museum of its kind in Kansas.
